Great stuff. These images are from a field trip XPLANE designers took in October 2008. Yeah, there’s a Gutenberg bible specimen. We got to look at (and touch!) many incredible specimens including a Gutenberg bible page; classic Caslon, Baskerville, Gill, &c type samples; an El Lissitzky book; several artists’ books, and much, much more.
Thank you very much to Ken Botnick for the tour!
