MOSSVELVET is a music project. One new album every month for 2025. This is May.

It’s also a ‘found objects’ project of sorts — there is no original music. Everything is assembled from Apple GarageBand Loops and SFX, plus a handful of public domain samples. Think of these tracks more as films — more flowing, less formulaic, less structured, and fewer repeated parts.

A relatively mellow fever dream of neon bellbottoms and whispered signals, Lightning Kisses for Electric Dreams explores the quieter side of connection and restlessness — the feeling of being awake when the world is asleep, of being in love when the world is burning. Built from layered loops and ambient textures, Lightning Kisses for Electric Dreams is warm and enveloping.

Each track captures a different kind of motion: Slow drives through city lights, love in the afternoon, memories just out of reach, a pulse that won’t settle.
