Every week I used to find a cool weblog (sometimes a local St. Louis blog) or some useful, interesting web site from here or there and write up a brief on it for the Sunday Everyday section Tuesday Here and Now section in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (I used to work there as Features Photo Editor). Peek in on other peoples' problems and curiosities at Ask Metafilter, a popular online discussion area where digital citizens seek advice on any and all topics. Although you have to be a member to post questions, anyone can browse the answers. Expert advice columns are a dime a dozen -- click over to ask.metafilter.com to get real answers from regular folk.
