(bits) by bill keaggy

Every week I used to find a cool weblog (sometimes a local St. Louis blog) or some useful, interesting web site from here or there and write up a brief on it for the Sunday Everyday section Tuesday Here and Now section in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (I used to work there as Features Photo Editor). That's about it. Not much action here anymore. More of my stuff can be seen here: keaggy.com.

A Million Penguins

Attention bad writers: A few weeks ago we pointed you to "The Cringe Book," citing it as your only chance to be published. Well, it seems you have another chance. Penguin is attempting to harness the wisdom of crowds in order to publish a novel written by a group of people on the web. A Million Penguins is a collaborative, wiki-based creative writing exercise (we'll see how that goes). Type away at www.amillionpenguins.com.
