It’s OK to be bad.
Sometimes. This image was made on the sidewalk along Court Street in Athens, Ohio in 1996. It was shot on Ilford HP5 Plus 120 format film using a vintage Ansco Shur-Shot box camera. Like many places, there used to be a rather large mental institution in Athens. When it was shut down, everyone who was non-violent was released. There was “Bubble-Gum Guy,” who always had a large wad of gum in his mouth; “The Weatherman,” who would freak out if asked if it was going to rain; and this fellow, “Bad Boy,” with the excellent homemade jacket.
