Shroom Boats At least two bell peppers Various mushrooms (good ones) Orange or yellow tomatoes Limes (or lemon juice) Plum White onion Pine nuts Olive oil Sea salt Black pepper Minced garlic Oregano Parsley Honey (or not) Cut the bell peppers in half. Slice the tomatoes, onion and plum, juice the limes and put all ingredients except the peppers in a bowl and make sure everything is mixed/coated (or you can grill the veggies then pour the simmering mix on top.) Put the mix in aluminum foil and grill (or saute). Grill the green peppers and a main course. When done. pour the mix into the green peppers with the main course on the same plate and serve. Wow! |
The Salty Chicken No-bone/skin chicken breasts Portobella mushrooms Soy sauce Sesame seeds Ginger powder Marinate chicken in soy/sesame/ginger for at least 1/2 hour. Grill sliced portobellas with chicken while extra marinade cooks in saucepan. When mushrooms are grilled, throw in sauce and continue to cook down. When done, cover chicken with mushroomed soy sauce. Very salty! |

Note #1: Use common sense when attempting
these recipes. Never add too much cinnamon, cocoa, chocolate or cilantro.
Go for it on everything else because you can always balance it out with
something. Note #2: You know what chili looks like. Experiment. Make it hearty. And have crackers, sour cream, milk and napkins handy. Note #3: Don't marinate meat then use the same sauce from the same bowl to baste while grilling. Separate some marinade first. Uncooked meat is fabulously dangerous. Note #4: I think mageirevo is Greek for cook, but I'm not sure. (Update: A visitor tells me it means I am cooking,, which is perfect!) |
