Photo 73 of 100 :: Day 2, Friday, 3 May 2002 By the time I hit Portland I was beat. I had already ridden more miles than yesterday (62 so far) and still wasn't to my camping spot. But I immediately perked up when I saw the Schlitz sign on the Riverfront Bar. I knew chances were nil that they actually sold my favorite cheap beer, and I was right. So I settled for a barstool and a Budweiser (two Budweisers, actually). I think the Riverfront Bar is the only business in Portland, Missouri. If you're only gonna have one, it might as well be a bar.
