Now it seems like a quiet little town that has managed to keep a lot of history and charm. And by history and charm I mean old buildings (Boonville boasts 450 sites on the National Register of Historic Places). But I like old buildings. I went into one that had become an antique mall and I bought an outsider art painting and an ice cream scoop.
