Rode my bike to work and had a Polish sausage from a Nathan’s Famous stand in downtown St. Louis.
Ate it under the Gateway Arch.
Summer in St. Louis.

Grilled portabella sandwich with scrambled eggs, Swiss and pesto, on rosemary bread.
This was from a new place in midtown called Café Ventana. They also have beignets! Yum.
Day 21: Croque Madame

Roasted ham, caramelized onions, Emmenthaler and Romaine on excellent sourdough. Topped with a fried egg, which I put inside the sandwich before eating.
Got this lovely specimen at Rooster in downtown St. Louis.

Day 19: Waffruitle sandwich

It’s like breakfast AND dessert… for dinner!
Strawberries, peaches and banana on mini-waffles with Marscarpone (enhanced with vanilla and honey by the amazing Diane).
Oh, with bacon and eggs on the side.
Damn!

This one’s the sesame tofu (VEG201) from The U: Marinated tofu, Napa cabbage, green onions, red peppers, provolone, sesame and orange vinaigrette. Awesome.
