A mushroom Swiss burger and a plain ol’ cheeseburger from Dairy Queen. I have decided to spare you from the sight of what they looked like unwrapped. Sorry, I just needed fast food today.

Yummy falafel from Carmen’s Café on Gravois, a great Lebanese restaurant. Everything was good: The hummus, kibbies, lamb…

Cardinals vs. Cubs. Wrigley Field. Rain delay. Calzone. Game called. Bummed.

#24: Stilton burger, NSM|2007

Went to the Wrigleyville Goose Island before the Sunday evening Cards/Cubs game. I got fish and chips and Diane shared her good (if not slightly weird) Stilton burger. But we had bad weather. Went all the way to Chicago for a rain-out. :-(

#23: Ham and cheese on pretzel bread, NSM|2007

Arrived in Chicago after one night in STL after leaving PDX and had an appointment with the Field Museum to see some dinosaurs. Had to fuel up first and went into the Corner Bakery for a sandwich on pretzel bread. I guess the Corner Bakery is Chicago’s Bread Co./Panera. We’re supposed to be here to see the Cards beat the Cubs but it’s raining. :-(

A big ol’ hot dog bought in the Denver airport from the Sara Lee Sandwich Shoppe. Yep.

A surprisingly satisfying ham and cheese muffin bought at the Portland airport. Guilty pleasure.
