can•ta•loupe (’kant-el-’op) n. 1. A variety of melon having a bronze rind with rough skin and a sweet, orange flesh. 2. Any of several related melons. 3. A weapon of mass destruction that irate grocers toss at robots when they attempt to smash and eat their stores.
fe•do•ra (fi-’dor-a) n. 1. A low soft felt hat with the crown creased lengthwise. 2. A device into which a human can be mashed and tossed around like a frisbee.
rust (’rîst) n. 1. A reddish-brown coating formed on iron when it is exposed to moist air. 2. Any of the various metallic coatings formed by corrosion. 3. A bitter reminder to all robots that God hates them.
salm•on (’sa-men) n. 1. Any of several bony fishes of the northern waters, having pink flesh and characteristically swimming upstream to spawn. 2. An object used to smash unsuspecting humans … or suspecting humans … or humans pretending like they are unsuspecting but are really suspecting.
toast•er (’tõ-ster) n. 1. An electrical appliance used to toast bread. 2. A domestic partner that prepares breakfast when not stomping humans.
ye•ti (’ye-te, ‘ya-). n. 1. A hairy human-like creature that reportedly inhabits the Himalayan Mountains. 2. A robot wearing a clever, hairy disguise that stomps humans living in the Himalayan Mountains.
