Princess Mononoke

One of my favorite recent films just opened here at the dollar theatre: Princess Mononoke. It’s playing at St. Andrews off I-70 past St. Charles. It’s worth the trip out there. Info on Postnet’s movie timetable.

Oh, man, these games are cool.

Friday, May 5th, 2000

Oh, man, these games are cool. I’m not exactly sure, though, what the real purpose of doing them in DHTML is. I mean, you need a 4.0 browser anyway, and all 4.0 browsers now come with Flash pre-installed, so wouldn’t it be easier and smoother (and look cooler) to do it in Flash? The download might be a bit bigger, but even as it is, with all the code needed to run these things, the pages still take a while to load. Oh, well, whatever. They’re still fun, cool, and damn impressive.
