21st "annual" "launch"": Thursday, 31 December 2020 St. Louis, Missouri. For the first time in 20 years we did not get together to celebrate the launch festivities. Instead, I sent up a fake rocket in my yard on the last day of the year. Sorry everyone, 2020 sucked. Here's the "commemorative poster".
20th annual launch: Saturday, 21 December 2019 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Same place as usual: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the commemorative poster. Here's another. And another.

Don't even think of checking back here and at our new Facebook group for GO/NO GO updates. There's snow. It's on.
Remember we now have a Missilefits Facebook page. Here are photos from our first ever winter launch.
Twelfth annual launch: Sunday, 25 September 2011 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. After a couple cancellations and delays, we finally hit the skies. It was a perfect day. Held in the same place as usual: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the commemorative poster.
Remember we now have a Missilefits Facebook page.
And if you were there and took pix, upload to Flickr or somewhere and send me a link so I can include them below!
Eleventh annual launch: Sunday, 25 July 2010 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. It was tough arranging schedules but we finally nailed down a launch date and it was perfect. We managed to avoid the really bad humid STL summer heat and just had bad summer heat. It was an awesome event. This was our 11th annual launch and the first without co-founder Andrew Robbins but he was definitely there in spirit. The launches were appropriately fun/chaotic/slightly dangerous, which made it a fitting tribute to our friend. Check out the excellent Collector's Edition posters Dan Zettwoch made. Held in the same place as usual: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the commemorative poster.

Tenth annual launch: Sunday, 7 June 2009 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. It's no jokes, folks. We are 10 years old this year. Remember our slogan? "We get together once a year and launch crappy rockets!" Hope to see you there. Invite friends. Same place as usual: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the commemorative poster.
Ninth annual launch: Sunday, 20 April 2008 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. You know what? It's always hot, humid, dry, brown, uncomfortable and icky when we launch even if it rains. So this year we did a spring launch and not have to suffer another parched, 102 degree launch day. Same place as usual: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the updated commemorative poster.
Eighth annual launch: Sunday, 24 Jun 2007 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Another year, another rocket. The Missilefits convened in June for more rocket launchery and general debauchery. It was ridiculously hot and humid and even rained a little. Andrew's mom's car almost got blown up. Anyway, the festivities happened in the same place as last year: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Yay! Here's the commemorative poster.

Seventh annual launch: Sunday, 18 Jun 2006 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. The 7th annual Missilefits Model Rocket Launch happened at noon on Sunday, June 18. After a short rain delay, all launches went ahead as planned, except Ben's, which pretty much flew into orbit never to be seen again... But overall, a very successful day. Bonus! The unstoppable Dan Zettwoch made limited edition commemorative posters, and we had homemade trophy prizes again. Good job, everyone! (Andrew, Tina, Lucy, Michael, bk, Diane, Liam, Sorena, Michael, Shannon, Jeff, Leslie, Brielle, Will, Velma, Stella, Ben and all y'all...).

Sixth annual launch: Sunday, 12 Jun 2005 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. We launched on the cricket field because there was construction at last year's spot. We all got sunburnt, and ran out of igniters, but it was fun. Photos from this year's launch provided by Michael Kilfoy, Andrew and others (the photos from my rocket camera still need to be developed). Here's this year's commemorative poster. Thanks, everyone! (Andrew, Tina, Lucy, bk, Diane, Liam, Michael, Shannon, RJ, Jeff, Will, Velma, Stella, Amanda, Tom, Andrea...)
Fifth annual launch: Sunday, 19 Sep 2004 Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. The best launch so far! For our 5th anniversary launch, prizes were awarded and a picnic was had. (Andrew, Tina, Lucy, bk, Diane, Liam, Tom, Jeff W., Sarah, Jeff L., Dan, Will, Stella, Margaret, Jim, Chris, Nick, Andrew's brother, Andrew's brother's girlfriend) This year's commemorative poster.
